How to Get Swimsuit Ready



Beach season will be here before you know it. Are you swimsuit ready? If not, the following steps will help get you on your way.

Don't starve yourself. You will only slow down your metabolism and stop losing or even gain weight. Start your day with a healthful, well-rounded breakfast and try to eat five to six small meals during the day to keep your blood sugar stable.

Try on a bathing suit you would like to wear come swimsuit season (be realistic!). Note areas you want to tone.

Get aerobic exercise. Thirty minutes a day, five to seven days every week, will help you shed unwanted pounds.

Drink lots of water. Drinking more water will help you flush water you might be retaining. It will also help you feel more full and therefore eat less. Plus, it is a good habit to get into for the summer!

Lift weights. Toning will help you burn even more fat, and shape up those not-quite-ready areas.

You don't have to be stick thin to look good and feel great in a swimsuit. Find a cut and pattern that flatters your shape.
